Formation of Fossils.
Fossils of plants and animals are real and observed at most any zoo or museum. The description on the plaque next to the fossil will most certainly say something about millions of years. What does it take to make a fossil and does it take millions of years to form?
A fossil is formed when a once living thing dies, is buried and minerals from the soil penetrate the dead thing turning it into nearly rock. Secular scientists claim the creation of fossils is a very long process. They say that once the living thing dies it takes millions of years to be covered by sediment and turn into a fossil. In contrast, Creationists offer the explanation that living things were buried quickly and fossilization happens quickly.
Secular scientists are slowly admitting that fossilization requires fast burial as Creationists have claimed. This is because once something dies is will quickly decay and be eaten and therefore not fossilize. Fossils themselves also support rapid burial. For example, this fish was buried while eating another fish.
The creation of a fossil has also been observed to happen very quickly. This felt hat was found in a mine and had completely turned into stone in a short period of time not millions of years.
Let’s recap. Fossil evidence supports Creationist’s claim of rapid burial and quick fossilization. Once again, scientific evidence supports that Bible and specifically the account of Noah’s Flood as explanation for the fossils we find all over the globe.
